Learn the basic techniques of ikebana, the art of Japanese floral arrangement.
The workshop will be led by Nozomi Morita - born & raised in Osaka, Japan, she was taught ikebana from her mother who is certified in ikebana in Japan. Nozomi will review materials needed for ikebana and share a few basic methods on how to make ikebana arrangements on your own. She will also show how to wrap gifts with a furoshiki wrapping cloth at the end.
Time: 3-4pm / 1 hour

Workshop cost covers all ikebana materials/instruction + furoshiki:
- Small kenzan
- Fresh cut flowers (Ranunculus or similar flower)
- Japanese brand, "Hasami" Porcelain tray
- Mini notebook and golf pencil from Paper Please
All materials will be provided and you will be able to take your arrangement home. ***Scissors will be provided for use during the workshop but not included in materials to take home.
